Abstract

The paper examined Philosophy of Education as a Catalyst for Building a Skilled and Inclusive Society in the 21st Century. The paper adopted the analytical method since several articles, journals, and scholarly works relating to the philosophy of education, skill development, and inclusivity were reviewed. The philosophy of education serves as the foundation for developing a holistic educational framework that nurtures critical thinking, creativity, adaptability, and collaboration skills necessary for effective participation in the 21st-century knowledge-driven economy. Through the lens of humanistic, pragmatic, constructivist, and progressivist philosophies, the study explored how educational principles can foster inclusiveness by promoting equal access, respect for diversity, and empowerment of all learners. The paper also highlighted that education guided by sound philosophical principles is essential in producing individuals who are not only skilled but also socially responsible and innovative citizens. The discussion also underscored the need for rethinking curriculum design, teacher preparation, and educational policies to align with the philosophical goals of inclusivity and skill-oriented learning.
