Abstract

This study examined effect of school learning environment and instructional resources in Business Education on the development of entrepreneurial skills for inclusive society Building in South-South. Three specific objectives guided the study and three research questions guided the study. The study adopted a Correlational survey research design. The population comprised 1,496 final-year Business Education students in public universities across the South-South region of Nigeria, while a sample of 303 respondents was selected using the Krejcie and Morgan sample size determination table. Data were collected using two instruments titled “Effect of School Learning Environment Questionnaire” (ESLEQ) and “Instructional Resources in Business Education on the Development of Entrepreneurial Skills for Inclusive Society Building Questionnaire” (IRBEDESISBQ) with overall reliability coefficient of 0.78 determined through Cronbach Alpha. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient at 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that school learning environment, availability of instructional resources, and improved instructional strategies collectively contribute significantly to the development of entrepreneurial skills among Business Education students in public universities in South-South Nigeria.
